ExxonMobil Design Week
I had the opportunity to present my original lecture at ExxonMobil's Design Week 2025, fulfilling a long-held dream of sharing my passion for creative visual design.
Titled "Eye-conic Ideas in Motion", the talk focused on the importance of creativity in web, visual, and interactive design, offering techniques to strengthen this often-overlooked skill. I developed the entire online session myself, from the custom visual identity to the content and dynamics, drawing inspiration from professional experience and greatest influence: my mother.
My session made a powerful impact, attracting over 200 viewers. It not only sparked interest but also encouraged hands-on engagement, with several participants sharing their creations from the practical activity segment.
The lecture reinforced the importance of nurturing creative thinking in technical environments and showcased my leadership in driving innovation through design.

Pucpr Poliweek Lecture
Then, "Eyeconic Ideas in Motion" grew so much that it eventually made its way to Poliweek (the Academic Week of the Polytechnic School at PUCPR, my university). Now translated into Portuguese, this project has gained improvements and a brand-new format, presented to technology and engineering students.
I had to adapt the material and make it even more focused on the technology field, extending its duration from 25 minutes to 1 hour and delivering it in person. From the content about Creative Visual Design for developers to the slide template tied to my personal visual identity, I embraced this challenge hands-on, not entirely sure if it would work or capture the audience’s attention.
Soon after, all seats were sold out, and I could hardly believe it when I saw my name as a speaker on the event banner. Once again, the reception was incredibly warm, and as I chatted and answered questions from many attendees after the event, I truly felt that I had achieved my main goal: to share my knowledge and inspire, even just a little, more and more people.

Trainee Onboarding 2025
I had the honor of being selected as one of the members of the ExxonMobil's Trainee Onboarding program committee in 2025. This amazing initiative aims to introduce newcomers to all the opportunities the company offers and encourage networking among them.

Considering I was the trainee starting my journey in the 2024 Onboarding program, and how much it gave me confidence and incredible friendships to begin with, it was truly amazing to have the opportunity to lead this project.
Over six months, we worked *a lot* within the committee to organize three weeks of training sessions, lectures, and activities for 115 new trainees. We also developed a "Jam" to challenge them to create a presentation (delivered to supervisors in English) about their work areas and the skills they aimed to develop in the upcoming months.
I was able to further develop not only my soft skills (teamwork, communication, organization, leadership, and creativity), but also my hard skills (UI/UX Design, Front-End/Back-End Programming, and Web Development). Couldn't be happier with the results!

Stem Stickers Contest
I actively participated in ExxonMobil's WIN committee (Woman In Tech) and its branch, STEM. In 2025, a company-wide competition was launched to create new stickers for the committee's promotion.
The best designs submitted would be voted on and the stickers cards would be distributed at the committee's upcoming events, as promotion and dynamic prizes.
Fortunately, among the whole company, my design was one of the 3 chosen finalists and eventually winners.

It contained inspiration from the vaporwave aesthetic, combined with 90’s computer style, along the committee color palette.
I still can't believe I was chosen. It is a great and special achievement for me. Not only I received a prize kit as recognition for my work, but also copies of the beautiful stickers designed by my two colleagues who were also winners of the contest!

Visual Design 101 Training
I had the honor of delivering the Visual Design 101 training for ExxonMobil, along with one of my stakeholders, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for trusting my work and inviting me to this memorable opportunity.
It was a full day of learning and various practical activities. Over 8 hours, participants created a poster of their favorite character using the principles of visual, content, and user research design. At the end, they received level 1 proficiency in these skills and were ready to experience a more creative and colorful world!
I must say it's a funny feeling, because a year before, I was the one doing this training and achieving my proficiency, and now I feel so fulfilled to realize how much I've grown and evolved as a designer since then.

At the end of the day, we took an official photo with all participants after the training session was completed. Some were keen to proudly show off their finished projects in the photo!
